Green Heron 52

The green heron is one of the smaller herons with an iridecent green on their backs. These birds can also be mistaken for a bittern due to their close resemblance. They have rather short and buiky builds and tend to be solitary. Green Herons are known to hang around shallow bodies of water that have areas of vegetation and tend to blend it very well with the vegetation.
