Mud Volcano Basin 18

Mud Volcano area is one of Yellowstone's many hydrothermal basins that is a bit different than most of the other basins. Here visitors can experience lakes of acid and mud that constantly boil. It is one of the most acidic places in the park. This feature is called Dragon's Mouth with steam spewing out of a cave like opening along strange noises.
