Mud Volcano Basin 38

Mud Volcano area is one of Yellowstone's many hydrothermal basins that is a bit different than most of the other basins. Here visitors can experience lakes of acid and mud that constantly boil. It is one of the most acidic places in the park. Sour Lake as pictured here, just simmers quietly and is about as acidic as Sulfer Cauldron.
