Ritter Island is part of the Thousand Springs State Park system and a beautiful place to spend a day. The park includes many springs that are part of the Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer. In addition to the springs providing a great place to cool off, portions of the springs actual come out of steep rock cliff creating an interesting waterfall seemlingly out of no where.
