Lake Havasu City hosts an annual balloon festival and fair in January of each year on the banks of the Colorado River. The festival runs for three days with a wide variety of events and tons of vendors in addition to the hot air balloons. Depending on weather and wind conditions approximately 80 hot air balloons can be launched into the sky over the city.
