Shoshone Falls 33

A rainbow appears between showers over the Snake River . This portion of the Snake River is immemdiately downstream from Shoshone Falls in Idaho. Shoshone Falls is a 212 foot waterfall in Twin Falls that marks the upper limit of fish migration on the Snake River. The waterfall has the nickname, Niagara of the West and is particularly powerful in spring from the snowmelt.
