Upper Mesa Falls is a waterfall on the Henrys Fork off the Snake River. It is located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest by Ashton, Idaho. The upper falls is about 114 feet high and 200 feet wide. The falls pours over the ash remains of an ancient volcano eruption. The Upper and Lower Mesa Falls are the last remaining falls in the area that have not been altered by man.
