Cunningham Cabin 102

The Cunningham Cabin is one of the few remaining early structures in Jackson Hole. In the 1880s, John and Margaret Cunningham began the Bar Flying U Ranch and built this Appalachian style cabin. Other famous cabins build in this stype include the John Ogle Cabin in the Smoky Mountains. John lived in the cabin until 1895 when his home was finished. The cabin is famous for a gun battle between individuals claiming to be US Marshalls and guests staying in the cabin that were alleged horse thieves.
