The Lower Falls of Grand Canyon of Yellowstone is the largest volume waterfall in the Rocky Mountains and the most popular waterfall in Yellowstone National Park. The falls flows through a 590,000 year old Canyon Rhyolite lava flow. The Lower Falls is one of two falls on the Yellowstone River with the Upper Falls being the other fall in the canyon.
