Mud Volcano Basin 60

Mud Volcano area is one of Yellowstone's many hydrothermal basins that is a bit different than most of the other basins. The area is located near one of the volcano's vents and has features that are some of the most acidic in the park. Here visitors can experience lakes of acid and mud that constantly boil. Mud Cauldron as shown here is a feature that is visible directly from the parking lot.
