Sandhill Crane Chick Lake Woodruff 1

A few pairs of sandhill cranes return to Lake Wooddruff Wildlife Refuge each winter to mate and raise their young. Lake Woodruff Wildlife Refuge is a 21,500 acre preserve along the St. John's River where many birds come to winter. Along with the birds, you will find fisherman, hikers, bikers, and photographers along the 6 miles of trails.
