A roseate spoonbill gathers nesting material for his mate from a branch at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. Each spring wading birds flock to the tree tops of the Alligator Farm to mate, build nests and raise chicks. Amazingly these nests are built just above ponds with hundreds of alligators waiting for a meal.
